Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

In case you've not had a chance to see this yet, a scan of the proposed changes to the North end of Ducketts Common and the junction at Turnpike Lane.

What changes would you make to DC?

you mean no parked benchies for the poor, or the drunken.drugged. mental health patients- totally outrageous, snobbery, ignorance at its worse, these are the very same people that our society no longer help- due to extrem cutbacks

discharged out into the community with no support, expected to be able heal themselves-

all the  parks have benches including, hyde park, kensington, regents park

shame on you

Or even for the elderly, otherwise clean and sober. Thank you Tigha.

Just to be clear ... all the benches on the common including the 'tree trunk seat' will remain.

Only the two metal benches just outside the common (at the TPL junction) will go, replaced with the new seating mentioned earlier.

And how is this not " clutter " ?

Any idea on when this is likely to happen?

According to the document ...

March 2013? So just the year late then...

I presume that's a typo considering the consultation ended on 3 Feb 14.

The plan does not feature the random patch of concrete that appeared close to DC North last summer. A good site for more outdoor table tennis - the single table by the courts is fairly popular.

Hello Trevor,

Unfortunately the table tennis set up is pretty expensive, so i don't think another one is on the cards just yet. It's our understanding that Haringey Council are keen to try another 'pop up' cafe at that location.

Easier said than done. The lady in the hut last summer said the site had no water or drain. Electricity maybe.

I'd be in the market for a 50p cup of tea or a fruit ice lolly come summertime.

I see a concrete table is about £3000
