I've received an email from Haringey council that they are reviewing the library service.
The email statet: "Haringey is not looking to reduce the number of libraries in the borough and has committed to keeping our nine libraries. But the review will be a rethink of what a library is for and how they can meet the needs of residents in the future. It will also help us to better understand why some people are choosing not to use our libraries as they currently stand. All of the responses received will help shape the review and give us ideas for how to make the most of our libraries."
Below is the link to the survey if you want to contribute. The survey is closing on Wednesday 22 January.

Thanks very much for flagging this up - though it doesn't leave much time to reply! I've just checked the library website (catalogue and renewal page) as you'd think this was the obvious place to put a link to the survey??? but nothing there. Because I can renew on-line I visit the actual library building less often than I used to, but I would certainly want to be consulted - how did they choose who to email??
Yes, I see. However, I've got a short-cut link straight to the log-in page! (also to the 'Report it' page) so I wouldn't just browse the council site on the off-chance. I hope other people have seen it.
