Apologies if this has been posted recently but is there any news on the getting rid of all the sat dishes that plague Harringay Green Lanes? from Endymion up to St Anns?
Will they be dealt with as part of the Outer London Fund project? Because they are going to blight alot of hard work if they are allowed to stay up.

Nothing will be done until enough people complain to the Council Planning Department. Rule is only two dishes per building, one 1m dia max and one 60 cms dia max
I would be happy to write in if others are doing this at the moment - the more 'noise' the better I suspect.
Am I right in thinking this is the correct email address to use? planning.enforcement@haringey.gov.uk
Really, two per building? Or two per dwelling? Those stacks of six dishes (mostly left behind ones) are actually illegal?
Two per building is what it says on the Haringey Planning website. Any more and you have to apply for planning permission. A lot of the ones opposite the Arena were put up by a satellite TV shop which then moved further north on Green Lanes and didn't bother to take them down.
Perhaps contact Rob Chau at the Harringay Traders Association - rob@harringay4shops.com
You still see Band 1 TV aerials -for a service that closed down in 1985.
The recent storms dealt with quite a few of these (and redundant dishes) on my street the other week. Hurrah!
They might not be pretty, but of all the things Haringey council need to sort out, this surely has to be pretty near the bottom of the list.
Getting rid of unused satellite dishes sounds like a simple idea, but satellite dishes don't expire. Just because one tenant or owner isn't using it doesn't mean the next won't. Those that have been up there for years will presumably have some sort of immunity from planning prosecution on the grounds that they've been up there sufficiently long, and/or no one can prove how long they've been up there anyway.
