Wedding Fever on Green Lanes

The eagle eyed amongst you may have spotted a note on Diyarkabir's door that they're closed for a wedding.

One of the family is getting wed up at Ally Pally in what more than one of the traders told me was the Green Lanes 'wedding of the year'.

Apparently rumours are spreading like wildfire down on the Lanes. Amongst the tittle tattle that's doing the rounds is a rumour that the bride will be arriving at Ally Pally by helicopter.

It's due to start as I write. So no doubt the truth will soon be known! In the meantime, don't be surprised if Green Lanes seems a little quiet tonight.
