Having had great success here before, I wondered if anyone could recommend good solicitors in the area for extending leaseholds?

We used a lady up in Cockfosters called Roulla Georgio to buy our freehold and extend leases...very efficient and reasonably priced... would thoroughly recommend

If you want more local I used Craigen, Sorrell and Wilder on Turnpike Lane last year for a lease extension. Despite the name no relation to me -and it was Mr Sorrell who did it. Seemed reasonable enough price and easy to deal with as its a small practice.

We also had good experience using Jeremy Sorrell (cwssolicitors.co.uk) for leasehold/freehold matters.

Try Terence St John Millett.  They are in South Kensington.  They successfully handled a difficult lease extension with absentee landlord issue for me and also for some friends.  Solicitors do not need to live in the area to deal with issues in a neighbourhood.

You   could  also  try John  Martin  at  Barretts,  Turnpike  Lane/Ducketts  Common,  on

A couple of years ago we used John Baily at Rich & Baily in Crouch End, with whom it went very smoothly, helped by the fact that he had dealt with the freeholder many times over the years.
