Crochet for the Festival
Is anyone interested in supporting a Festival project 'Crochet in Couch End'? The idea is to brighten up the area with guerrilla crochet (and knitting) for the duration of the festival. We need people to crochet or knit squares or pieces of an appropriate size to wrap round railings etc alongside the bunting already being planned

Hi there,
It's great that you want to be involved. Initially we are going to do some small pieces to wrap round lamp posts or railing tops but if enough people come on board we could do squares and join them together to cover the clock tower! And then donate the made up piece to charity. I'm going to start on a sample tomorrow after I've measured up some likely targets so will post some measurements here
