Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

As you may already know, Music on the Ladder is hosting a Come and Sing Vivaldi's "Gloria" on Saturday, 20 October at St. Paul's Church, Harringay.  The work includes several solo sections and calls for at least two soprano soloists and at least one alto soloist.  We will be holding auditions for these solo parts on Sunday, 23 September from 2.30pm to 4.30pm at St. Paul's Church, Harringay (if you're planning to audition, you won't need to be there for the whole time).  The audition pieces for each voice will be one of the actual solos from the Gloria.  We will be using the versions found by clicking on the links below for the purposes of the auditions:

Soprano: http://javanese.imslp.info/files/imglnks/usimg/6/6c/IMSLP226445-WIM...

Alto: http://www2.cpdl.org/wiki/images/sheet/viv-gl10.pdf

If you'd like to audition you'll need to be available for the whole Come and Sing event on 20 October, which starts at 1pm and will finish around 7.45pm (with refreshments during breaks and afterwards).

Everyone is welcome to audition – we are aiming to make the process as informal and friendly as possible, so please don't feel you need to already be a superstar to have a go.  If you'd like to audition, please e-mail us at musicontheladder@gmail.com and tell us whether you're a soprano or an alto – we'll get back to you with a time slot as soon as we can.
