Ally Pally Torch Party
Hi there,
Is there anyone with tickets to the torch event at Ally Pally tomorrow who knows what entrance to go in? Doesn't say on the tickets. Maybe you can go in any way but wasn't sure with road closures etc.

Note from the organisers:
Ticket holders for the Evening Event at Ally Pally will not be allowed to take in food or drink and will be searched, water will be given out free at the event.

If I was going it would be the WCCC one. If I can be bothered to go look at the torch (probably can't) that will be my tiny subversive activity of choice. Watch for the arrest pics on Thursday.

If you're going to the event, you'll be using the ice rink entrance, that's the one at the Wood Green End. You can walk through the park to that end if you like. Apparently there'll be a soft search at the bottom of the hill where any drinks and food will be taken from you and a more thorough search at the top of the hill.

That's the entrance. I think you can expect that there'll be little discretion available to the security staff.
