Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

I have a problem with a chronically blocked drain.

Plunging it energetically fixes it for a time, but it blocks again.

Likewise pouring noxious chemicals down it improves it temporarily, but again it blocks again.

I've come to the conclusion that there is a physical blockage that can only be removed by mechanical means.

I'm rather hoping that someone has, sitting in their garage, shed or cellar, a drain auger or snake that I could borrow in order to attempt to solve the problem once and for all.

Thanks

Dave

To clarify, I'm not after drain rods, as it's a bath drain. it needs to be flexible enough to go around a U bend.

thanks again

I have a device calling itself a "Pipe and drain cleaning coil with brush" which you are welcome to borrow (briefly).  Although this will probably go round an old fashioned U bend, I doubt whether any such device would go round the modern plastic equivalents.
