Is anyone interested in forming a local business networking group in the area?

Hi Matt,

I am interested in such a group and it was something I though about myself. It would be better to have a local group co-operative than joining some network club that you would have to pay into to join and attend.

If something is set up I would however be more than happy to contribute financially to any admin or setup needed. I am an electrician and also audio/video and home automation engineer.

Great Ian - it would be good to have someone/s to help run it. I know what you mean about the ones that you have to pay for and forced you to turn up every week etc.

Hi Matt and everyone- This sounds like a great (and popular) idea. 

I run an accounting/finance practice on the ladder and could provide the finance chat part of the group. I guess getting a time and place to meet up would be the first step....?

Hi again, 

This is something we can discuss in person but I was thinking, going forwards, maybe we can meet every two weeks in a nice Green Lanes cafe/pub/at someones home/office, on the same day at lunch time for half an hour - an hour. Just something relaxed that you can turn up to if you are working lcacallly some weeks and not in other weeks.
