Recycling Collection
Anyone know why there's been no recycling collection recently? Has anyone found a way for them to take more rubbish when they do collect? We got more than will fit into the small green tubs, but they will only take the excess if I'm around and ask them personally.

I was going to post about this but you beat me to it! We normally have ours collected on Friday but this hasn't happened for the last two weeks. Last week the came on Monday. Anyone know if the schedule has changed? You'd think it might be worth letting people know!

An exchange with Veolia on Twitter has told us that they have had problems with broken down vehicles and are running behind schedule. They are supposed to be working extra hours to cover what they've missed.
With regard to green boxes, you can have as many as you need. If you are filling up the ones you have, ask for more boxes.
