Absolutely not. It's an offence. I've also seen a woman doing it along the New River Walk.
Oh you Brits.. you have problems.. you walk around knee deep in litter and then you moan about someone doing what comes naturally..
why didn't you just look the other way.. ?
I think it is unacceptable but i don't know what to do about it when you see it...
A couple of weekends ago i saw an older gentleman weeing into a bin on green lanes at about 1pm on a Saturday with shoppers milling about him. Everyone was looking the other way and letting him go about his business so to speak.
Part of me wanted to say something to him as i think it is inapppropriate and shouldn't be ignored but the other part of me was worried that he may have a medical condition which means he gets "caught short" and he could be very embarrassed about it.
In the end I didn't say anthing but still wonder whether i should have......!!
Weeing into a public bin is unacceptable - the person who empties the bin has enough to contend with without having urine seeping out at them aswell, plus I know my children often touch the area when putting in rubbish.
There's a massive shortage of public toilets but it still annoys me when (usually) men wee in enclosed public spaces like the passage as it does really smell & is disgusting. Why can't they use the toilets in the bookies or the pubs?
Haringey Council Introduced a scheme last March whereby shops, cafes etc would be encouraged to open their toilets free of charge to the general public. The response seems to have been less than enthusiastic, there being only six participating businesses, all in N15/N17
"No, yuk, not in the Passage!"
(Rolls around on the floor laughing)
That is a classic, sorry!
This is rather anti-social but I'm not sure why the police would be interested.
