Harringay online

Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

No to Wizard. No to Slade. Get thee behind me Paul McCartney. Enough of Wham already!

Putting my Christmas playlist together and looking for some alternatives to the above.

We do have Half Man Half Biscuit – All I Want For Christmas Is A Dukla Prague Away Kit.

The Mediæval Bæbes.
Any track in particular? Or is the music not the selling point?

I think they only had one album, found on iTunes. Have a "sample" it's quite cool (in answer to your question I have no idea what else would make you buy the music...).

Also have Kings College Choir Christmas carols..

Only one possible choice, in my opinion...

If you haven't heard this original song from 1968 please listen to the very subtle soundscape in the background of the music. The best and most profound anti-War song ever produced.

Not listening to any music. Saving my ears until the new Blondie album comes out :-)

Wooo hooo Debbehhhhh !!

You're right john mcm. The Babes are really a bunch of beardy folk singers in home made jumpers, they're just toying with us with a name like that.

Happy "Birthday of the Unconquered", Winter Equinox, Festival of the Wild Women, Birth and Death of Osiris, Birth of Boddhisattva's Enlightenment, Saturnalia, Alban Arthuan, Soyal and Yule!!

Feel free to add user:waterox if you are spotified. You won't find any christmas songs though..

We had a bizzare mix of Rat Pack, Mowtown, and Phil Spector Xmas secials plus a suprising number of religious Christmas carols for a household with at best a sceptical view of faith based organisations - however let me wish you all a Happy New Year with this beautiful song based on the New Years eve folk tradition in Allendale Northumberland - sung by the Unthanks (folkies but not bearded!)

I also like Phil Spector, the thought of him always brings Christmas cheer  http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/celebritynews/phil-spect...

Run Rudolph Run - Chuck Berry, Christmas Wrapping - The Waitresses, Christmas Rapping - Kurtis Blow....and F*** You - Cee Lo Green.  These we enjoyed.
