Thanks for capturing this, James. You may have missed the post by member hhnrau a couple of months back when the sign at the side of the shop was uncovered and led me to do the same for the shop's history.

I have a vague memory of there being a branch of Dennis (E.Dennis?) at the end of Quernmore Road by Harringay (West) station.

I remember going to this shop every Saturday morning for the weekend roast, I think Charlie was the man’s name, a very dapper person with a small moustache, this shop was opposite the coop our number was 1101385, this was 70 years ago.
