Music fans stormed their way into a free park gig by rap-rock legends Rage Against The Machine at the weekend, after safety concerns over the number of people without tickets.
Some 30,000 revellers flocked to the ticket-only gig in Finsbury Park on Sunday night, but organisers, council officers and the police decided to open the gates to the arena to alleviate the sheer weight of numbers outside.
the police seemed to think the concert was in my garden not the park, and helecopters hovered over my house for the duration of the gig.
the noise was so incredibly loud it drowned out my television and went on for hours.
what an expensive waste of money and fuel, hassling peaceful music fans and deliberately trying to drown out the concert...i had been looking forward to sitting in the garden listening to the music drifting over from the park, but the noise of the helecopters ruined my sunday.
if anyone else had been so inconsiderate they would have been prosecuted!
do they pick on music fans more than the fortnightly influx of football fans, or does it just seem that way from my house?
