In a little bit of heritage news, the listed cattle trough in Hornsey High Street which is in front of Great Northern Railway Tavern now has a new paved area around it, with bollards.
This has been done to protect it from traffic as twice in the past few years vehicles have hit this cattle trough.
Nice to see a little bit of local history preserved.

Nice. Well done folks. In my young day it was still in use as a water trough! Then it became a huge ash tray.
