Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Building control engineering plans and calculations

We’re looking to knock through the wall between our ground floor rooms and the builder confirmed we need to get plans and calculations signed off by the council. Does anyone have any recommendations of someone who could do this? The last two engineers I spoke to need someone else to draw up scale plans of the house first, but don’t have any recommendations of who. Ideally I’m looking for someone to do both.

Hi Michael,

I used a lovely chap called Bradley who is on 079 6604 8553, he arranged building control plans as well as an engineers report for a recent project. Very down to earth and practical, with lots of experience of dealing with local councils and planning applications.
