It's nearly bluebell season. Does anybody know where they be seen in Harringey.

Never managed to get here as not easy by public transport. Bluebells looking great at Osterley on Friday. For non-NT members Mon and Tue are cheaper as then you only pay for a garden ticket.
If anyone finds any English bluebells, I'd be interested, the ones where the heads tip over; in most places I've visited, the stronger Spanish upright type seems to have taken over.
photo taken yesterday
oh, the shot is looking up hill so check through the trees at the back as well. An awesome sight and I feel very lucky to have been there
Where was that, please?
Hi Rosamund,
A Teaser I’m afraid, Sorry. Not in London , Welsh borders, Forest of Dean. It’s not a day trip unless you’ve access to a helicopter and stout walking boots.
We we’re just there visiting family for Easter, And normally we only get to see the full monty once every 4-5 years when the Easter break coincides with the bluebells all being open. You only need to be a day or so out and you’ve missed it.
A true wonder of British Woodlands, however fleeting.
The National Trust only preside over English ones, not Spanish, so Osterley is a good place to go. I personally don't mind what kind they are and have come across several lovely almost hidden woods in Wales over this last weekend.
Although it's not strictly Harringay, the front of St Michaels church (junc. Bounds Green Road and High Road) normally has a nice array. Last year there were even some white bluebells, so to speak.
They look like the real deal! Visiting a Chingford garden today we found these few stalwarts amid the interlopers: I don't know how to display the photo, it's an attachment here.
I had a chat with a neighbour about bluebells yesterday and he recommended SouthWeald Country Park. I had a look on line and found this:-

he did say that South Weald was a bit of a shlep to get there tho.
