Fire on Green Lanes

The sudden billowing smoke at 7 pm this evening was from a fire on Green Lanes and not from the volcano. It appears that the smoke is coming from Gokyuzu Restaurant or behind that terrace of shops.

Green Lanes between Kimberly and Chesterfield gardens is now closed (My bus had to do a U turn), lots of police, ambulances and fire appliances on scene - looks pretty serious.

Arh wondered what was going on. Had to detour past OAE's place along Wightman. Thanks for that instant report.
