On Saturday 30 October, 2-3pm there will be a unique recital on the newly restored 1920 Hunter organ at St Mellitus Church, Tollington Park N4.
The recital will include the world premiere of two pieces written specially for the organ by Emmy-nominated composer Nicholas Singer: Our Time Lost and All Losses Restored.
The new pieces will be played by local organist Marion Bettsworth, alongside works by J.S. Bach, John Ireland and others, including two pieces played at the dedication of the organ in December 1920.
The recital is organised by Stroud Green Festival in partnership with St Mellitus Organ Restoration Project.
Tickets are free, but need to be booked in advance.

There will be a retiring collection. Donations will go to the organist and to care for the organ.
