Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Hi Everyone,

I hope you're all enjoying this sunny weather!

We're actively looking to buy a house in the area. We've been searching through the usually channels but haven't been able to find anything so thought I'd try HOL.

Ideally, we would like:

3+ bedrooms, South or West facing garden (good size), extended already or with scope to extend. Not asking for much I know! We've sold our flat and are completing at the end of September so are in a good position to buy.

We're pretty flexible but our favourite roads are all the ones between Raleigh Road & Duckett Road on the ladder. All the roads in the gardens and also Langham Road, Carlingford Road, Brampton Road, Glenwood Road, Harringay Road, Stanmore Road and Waldeck Road.

A long shot I know, but if anyone is thinking about selling their house (or knows someone that might be), please do get in touch.

Many thanks

Thanks Nick, this is great to know. I've always assumed North gardens get very little sunshine and it's very difficult to grow things in one.

65 Beresford Rd. which has 3 bedrooms & large basement. Recently completely upgraded to high standard. North facing with 20 yd garden & plenty of sunshine.

Hi Stuart, thanks for getting in touch. I've asked to connect so I can send you a DM.

Hi Stuart, are you able to accept my connection request so we can chat further? Thanks

Hi Mona, we’re selling quite a spacious 2000sq ft house currently just off the ladder, have requested to connect if you’d like more info.

My brother and I are in the process of getting organised to put our house on Roseberry Gardens on the market in the autumn but I am not completely sure that we could be ready by the end of September. If you were seriously interested, we would work on thinking this through in order to confirm one way or another.

As far as we are aware, it is in pretty sound, basic condition, but the back garden is NNW facing; means it gets sun all afternoon

I think the measurements and lay-out is much the same as this which is ion the same terrace:

https://www.rightmove.co.uk/house-prices/detailMatching.html?prop=6...

but with the original separated kitchen and dining room, front and middle reception rooms , bathroom and toilet

All the windows and external doors are ghastly  double glazed or louvre. there are some original fireplaces and a couple of those 50's type beige tiled ones. Mostly original pine flooring. I think the internal doors might be original beneath a 'modernising/fireproofing surface sheet of (hardboard)

There is also a large metal shed on a raised concrete base at the end of the garden

The usual extensions added in these houses are on the side return, and many in the same row have extended into the roof.

Do let me know if you would like to discuss.

Hi Elfi, Thanks for getting in touch. I've just requested to connect.

Hi Elfi, are you able to accept my connection request so we can chat further? Thanks

Well, sale of mine is pending. I guess it might still fall through but it's on Fairfax Rd not one of your favored roads.. South facing though and lots of features

Thanks for getting in touch. I've just requested to connect.

Don’t know if you’re up for a challenge but there’s a house coming up for auction on Tancred Road
