Co-op food store SHOULD HAVE opened at Manor House Fri 9 April

It's part of the new Travelodge hotel development on the south-west corner of Green Lanes and Seven Sisters Rd.

Open daily 0600-2300. A closer alternative to the one in Crouch End, though likely a lot smaller.

Co-op at Manor House is nowhere near open on Fri April 9 as publicised.

Shopfitters still assembling chiller cabinets, items of builders equipment everywhere, and of course no stock yet delivered. Several days work left to do, at a guess.

Well it was a nice walk over there.

Co-op at Manor House now opening Mon 26 April - probably. This from one of the shop-fitters, blaming the delay on a problem with the power supply from the hotel building above the shop.

Another fruitless journey.
