I've found the Government's interactive map of covid cases to be a useful way of monitoring the pandemic, and it's been good to see the dark purples become blue then green then white in the last few weeks as cases come down.
However, something strange has been happening in the last few days in the 'Harringay Ladder North' area & in some of the areas around it, with cases going up instead of going down - see the attached image showing Ladder north as dark blue, with a lighter blue in four areas around it.
Not sure what is going on...

That’s odd. According to the government website it’s coming down - coronavirus.data.gov.uk. Looking at the actual data by day it went from 16 to 20 cases but then dropped yesterday to 2 I think it’s best to look at 7 day trends
The figures I give above are from the Government website and are based on 7 day data - the latest assessment for Harringay Ladder North (based on this pm's update) is 20 cases over the past 7 days, up 10 on the previous period. If you look around the surrounding areas this is quite an unusual situation at this time, as most areas are going down quite fast.
I wouldn't use day by day data as it is very noisy (including reporting variations on different days of the week).
It’s statistically a bit misleading when you get to very small areas like this. An increase of 8 cases could be accounted for by positive tests in a handful households for instance
