Harringay and St Ann's Neighbourhood team showered with awards!
Some good news for our management team led by Dasos Maliotis who have received in house recognition of their great work on the Harringay Green Lanes Festival with 'The Extra Mile' award, and have also been recognised by a WOW award for Haringey.

Deserved award in my opinion having worked with Dasos over the years in his capacity as Neighbourhood team manager (and his team members) towards various community initiatives.

I echo this Matt - blinking marvellous Dasos’s team worked so hard on delivering our Festival great for them to win this award.
I have been trying to find something more about this and cant anything anywhere – nothing on the Council website – is there a link to somewhere to learn more?

It was announced in Area Assembly and I spoke to one of the team after to get what info I could. I also told Dasos I was going to post the news on the site. I think the Extra Mile award might be an inhouse thing but the wow awards is a national scheme. I did try digging a bit but couldn't find any specific reference online to our team's award.
The Assembly chair, Gina, or indeed Dasos himself might be able to tell you more.
