The bins have just been collected, and in the process a considerable amount of rubbish was spilled over my front path, the pavement and the street - I had to go out and sweep up after them.
In addition they left behind an untied black bag of household rubbish which was by a lamppost in front of my house. When I reported it, Veolia told me they are 'not allowed' to take anything that is not in a black bin. This rubbish will no doubt be all over the street in hours and the food containers in there will attract foxes - how counterproductive is that?

Was it Flats or a House ?
Issue over bags is people sometimes use other coloured bags, including medical use bags
If a House its the responsibility of property owner to sweep up their own property. Not forgetting they will not take overfilled bins
If in road. Aware they have got scavenger crews to clear up spillages
You can report the spilled rubbish to Veolia - see the pink button lower down on the right hand column.
Regular rounds will never collect street dumps. You need to report that via Haringey's app or the website.
Haringey has a new report email address if you believe it to be a illegal dump
