Can anyone recommend a decorator, please? The first job is for putting new floor tiles down

I can recommend Patryk Magdziak. He has lots of skills, not just decorating; he has a wide range of experience of building as well.

Patryk has just finished sanding and polishing my landing floors. He repaired some minor cracks in my walls and painted the ceilings, walls and woodwork in the hallway. He took time to plan and prepare and I was really pleased with the high standard of his work. He kept me informed of what he was doing each day and could be trusted with the keys of my flat to work while I was at work. I was particularly impressed by the consideration he made towards my two cats, especially when floors were wet. He made sure they were secure and away from any risks.

I discovered Patryk lays paths as well, and as I was so pleased with his work, I have booked him to come back to lay a stone path at the front of the house.

Patryk is very friendly and open. Another thing that impressed me was how he kept me informed around his break during Covid, even giving me the opportunity to book someone else when he realised he had to be away for longer than anticipated. This also prompted me to endure the wait and stay with Patryk.

I am told his charges are reasonable (I have little experience in judging this, as I do most of my own DIY, but the quality of his work was worth paying out).

He’s also a lovely guy - I enjoyed our little chats too!
