Don't follow...
Sorry, Justin, a bit cryptic. Knowing nothing of Jonathan Vellapah I had just googled to find he's a governor at SHS on Mattison as well as being something on the Specialist Schools & Academies Trust. Yes, the poor voter needs to have more info on those who would offer themselves as our reps./leaders/potential Haringey People pin-ups.
Amazing how many times someone wanting to be a councillor first does a stint as a school governor. Seen it so many times!
At least we know that Nora believes in universal principles, feminism, secularism, humanism, freedom of speech, playing the fiddle, political folk music, fish'n'chips and having a Lammy Government. Twitter seems to have missed out motherhood, apple pie and several issues dear to the heart of HOL. Now after all these years I'm not so sure about what Gina stands for. (re which I'm sure she still owes Hugh a response!)
Now Justin, who or what is Tim Caines? And why are we waiting for the rest of your slate?
A liberal Conservative.
Isn't that New Labour?
No (-:
No Birdy not New Labour - you remember the liberal Conservatives

- Margaret Thatcher & Norman Tebbit used to call them 'Wets'..
Can't say I see the difference either Birdy.

There might be a subtle difference in how many government schools each would like to see privatized via the academy scheme or, the 'let the parents take over' (think tank blue sky thinking) idea.
Well on the political compass they are operating in the same 5% of the field, giving us no real choice. Please don't say LDs : )
Why don't you stand as a Marxist, Alan? I've often thought about what I would do if I turned up at my local polling station and didn't like the parties or their candidates. I'd still use my vote by writing something silly (but not offensive) or putting 'none of the above' on the ballot paper. Use it or lose it, as they say.
Any viable alternative?
