Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Finsbury Park - 140 Years Old on 7th August

I noticed over the weekend that Finsbury Park was opened on 7th August 1869 which means it will have its 140th birthday in just under two weeks.

I spent many a happy hour playing there in the mid 50's. Loved to roll down the hill and play in the American Gardens. We would find a patch of daisies and make our daisy chains into bracelets and necklaces. Hard to believe it will be 140 years old!
