Just a basic typo - the roadworks.org website reports Allison Rd closed for waterworks for one day, 3 July.

At least they thought of posting letters.  My neighbour applied for a parking suspension for electrical connection work recently.  The formal notices were some 20 metres down the street in either direction and substantially hidden by overhanging trees.  He didn't trouble to take any further trouble to alert his neighbours and several of us had our cars towed away and charged £50 each for the pleasure.  Absolutely no flexibility on the part of the Council so in the end I paid up rather than face a doubling of the fine and the trouble and likely negative result at a tribunal.
