Makes the four back lights on my chopper in the 70s seem pretty pathetic now.  Chasing the corona man in the van with the returns. (If you missed him it would be TIPTOP non fizzy) on foot when the paraffin man came though.  "Bom bom bom bom esso" blue.  Paraffin heaters ay, didn't they cause some fires! Also when the paraffin ran out and the wick started to burn the polystyrene ceiling tiles would end up black.     The fire brigade eventually said "ENOUGH!!!

We used to have one at the top of the stairs to try and warm up the bedrooms when I was a kid.  How we didn’t all go up in flames amazes me!
