Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

I'm probably going to be getting rid of about half a dozen old PC's. I'd like to give them to a good cause. Any local schools interested? They probably all work, but might need a little TLC from a tech savvy person. Might not have monitors, keyboards for all of them, but I'll see what I can do.

Danzigger, if the schools don't take you up, have you thought about asking any local seniors groups if they would be interested? I believe there is a lunch club in Willoughby road for example.
Or the United Reformed Church (youth club) on cnr Alison Rd & GL.
Thanks - do either of these groups have anyone on HOL?
I think Adam has a contact for Willoughby Road. I've emailed him.
Thanks Liz
I know when the Mosque was built they built a computer room with ports ready for computers. They were going to have it open to the public. I`m unsure whether they ever got computers or not
Still working on this D but no one seems to have picked up on it yet. When do you want to get rid of them by?
Glyn, have you got a contact for the Mosque?
Mosque is right next door. Shall I go and ask them ?
It would be useful to know what facilities they have (if any) and whether they are open for use by interested parties. We are trying to identify venues for possible digital events.
No rush on my part - it's all a bit up in the air at the moment. Not even sure what I've got to give away
If we can't find anyone, you could try Computer Aid which takes both individual and business donations.

There are more suggestions in this post as well.
