Oak Foundation Award
The St Ann’s Redevelopment Trust (StART) have been awarded a grant of £74.6k from the OAK Foundation under their Housing and Homelessness programme. This support = will enable StART to pay for expert advice and support.
StART Featuring at RCA Future Homes for London event
Community groups, professionals, researchers and policymakers are convening for a two-day event at the RCA in London to discuss new housing models.
Day 2 is framed specifically around StART and will highlight two crucial themes for community-led housing: Community Control: What Could It Look Like? And How Do We Fund Affordable Housing?

Last night a group of Labour councillors and candidates met StART for a briefing. It's a really interesting and exciting project seeking to build genuinely affordable homes and strengthen the local community. This model offers a viable alternative to the kind of development that banks on ever-increasing property prices and has created so much insecurity and impoverishment.
