One is coming from Chestnuts School leaving at 4:30PM and will be led by the brass band. The other will leave Fairland Park and do a loop arriving back to meet the one from Chestnuts.
Hi Charlotte, Roughly which direction will you be coming from? Thanks, anna
You could head to the Salisbury on Green Lanes and join the Chestnuts Primary School Parade heading past there approx 4.45 or walk further up and join either parade walking past Beans and Barley at the bottom of Effingham Road approx 4.50, or take the train to Hornsey and come to Fairland Park and do a short parade leaving approx 4.30 from the park, along the passage to Effingham Rd and loop down to Green Lanes and back up to the park.
Railway Fields also have their own lantern parade taking place in the reserve that afternoon, but I am not sure of times.
Hope you can come along!
Why is this not the all inclusive parade of past years? No GRA, Railway Fields separate, no Traders Assoc & tree outside the Salisbury? Seems a shame!
Hi Matt, The parade this year involves many groups and individuals who are keen to be a part of this festive community event - Friends of Fairland Park, the PSA's of South Harringay Primary School, Chestnuts Primary School, North Harringay Primary School, Harringay Community Group and The Salisbury. Everyone pulling together with limited time and funding to make it work. Perhaps next year the other partners from previous years may choose to once again join in. Look forward to seeing everyone on Saturday.
