Hi Hollie, I am with Stokey Cats...and dogs. Could you please send email to stokeycatsndogs@gmail.com with pictures of the cats looking for homes as well as info on them such age, gender, health issues, location. We'll do our best to help.
How will I know which cats are yours? Is the RSPCA officially rehoming them? If they are, then there is no point for us to interfere.
Hi Hollie. We'll try to help you if we can. How many cats are there needing homes - 4 or 5? It helps to have detail on each cat. (If they are on the RSPCA website, you could put the links of photos and details on here with name of each cat).
Is there an urgent deadline date for when you need to find them good homes?
Are the cats all neutered? Cats are capable of breeding from as young as 4 months old so neutering is necessary to prevent that happening as there are so many homeless cats already. So it's vital that they are all neutered otherwise you will find yourself with more cats needing homes in the meantime. (I attach flyer below for benefit of any cat owners out there). Free Cat Neutering
Yes you're right, home checks are vital in order to find the right person who will be able to look after cats for their life span of 20 years in a good home. It takes a lot of time to find good homes as there are so many homeless cats. If the RSPCA are able to help the cats, that's great, or other rescues above. If you do need additional help or foster care, contact Elzbieta (Ella) above from Stokey Cats & Dogs as they are a local volunteer group who always try to help. Hope it all works out.
