Park View Cafe

Just checked out this new place at the Manor House gates entrance to Finsbury Park. I don't know. It was unexceptionable, the staff were nice and with the views on to the park it will probably be a pleasant place for a cup of tea when the weather's good enough to have the glass doors open. My omelette was fine. But do we really need another place like this? The menu is entirely predictable in the "greasy spoon with a Turkish twist" genre. There seems no reason, except proximity, why you'd go here and not Cafe Lemon, Meze, Cafe Bistro..

It would have been nice to have a stronger alternative to the clattering acoustics and surly staff of the Park Cafe.
