Meet the folks who've been fruiting our station

Recently the messy land around the entrances to Harringay Green Lanes Station has been prettified and put into good use by the folk at Transition Finsbury Park.

I thought we should get to know a wee bit more about them. So I made it my business to dig out their website.

The group describe their intention to:

find ways of living that are localised food production, sustainable energy sources, lively local economies and an enlivened sense of community

and more power to their elbow indeed.

You'll see from the map on the home page of their website that about a quarter of the territory they cover is in our manor. So if you've a yen to support the sustainability movement, here's a chance to do so on your own patch.
