An amazing gig at the Salisbury this sunday featuring some of the UK's top Jazz players
The Nick Costley-White Quartet
The Nick Costley-White Quartet is a new ensemble which Nick uses to explore his own compositions and arrangements. The sound of the quartet draws on influences from the New York contemporary scene, as well as the more cerebral colour found in European improvised music. Nick's compositions feature dense harmonic and rhythmic counterpoints alongside much simpler song forms, lending stylistic breadth and depth to the quartet's repertoire.
"A classy player with an elegant and subtle way with a good tune" Sebastian Scotney, London Jazz News
