Thursday September 11th Ladder resident  Maddy Paxman will discussing The Great Below, her critically acclaimed memoir. Details of this special event can be found HERE

Friday 12th September  Nick Davies discussing Hack Attack; how the truth caught up with Rupert Murdoch. Tickets are £5, and there are only 6 left.

Monday 15th September  James Ward with Independent journalist Rhodri Marsden to help launch his new book Adventures in Stationery. BGB say that this is proving phenomenally popular (and quite right too), so let them know if you want to attend. 

Friday September 26th  Monthly Comedy Night and this month Tiernan Douieb will taking centre stage. Tickets are just a fiver. 

On Friday October 17th, Judy Dyble, the original vocalist of the legendary band Fairport Convention, will be playing an intimate gig live in the Bookshop. Tickets for this event are just £6, so book now because tickets won't be around for long.
