Hi Sue - thanks for this - sounds like a lot of fun but sadly tuesday night is yoga night! Hopefully see you at parkrun sometime soon, although I have a lot of weekends away coming up unfortunately so will have slowed right up by the time I'm back. Can you tell me about the interval training sessions at the track in F Park? Saw it on the Heathside website. Would be good to get some encouragement as have never managed to do interval training on my own!
My fastest 5k is 22:37 and about 50 minutes for the 10k in Crouch End recently though it was my first 10k race in about 10 years so I'd hope to be able to go a bit faster. I'm training for the Great North Run and maybe another half in September. Since I'm going to be away so many weekends and not able to do parkrun I'd like something that will force me to work really hard! At the moment I guess I'm trying to do a 5k, a 10k and a longer run every week though it's usually more about how much free time I've got! I go out on the roads from work and when I'm at home usually go up the old railway and into the woods.
No way! Small world. Well I definitely can't stop yoga - it's counteracting all the pounding on pavements! Think I got confused, thought the interval training was Thursdays. Not sure if there is a summer break for yoga - if so I may be brave and join you! Say hi to Anna for me.....
