We've got loads of great storytellers, poets, artists, theatre and musicians to celebrate Midsummers Day at Karamel.
PAUL LYALLS AT 11AM Start the day with performance poet Paul Lyalls and his animal themed poems. Paul's work is funny, fast moving, hip, accessible, rhythmic and relevant.
MIKE DODSWORTH, STORYTELLER AT 12PM Mike specialises in physically energetic telling with an emphasis on interacting with his audiences and bringing stories to life. Expect a range of animal stories from near and far with both contemporary and well loved favourites.
BOOK MAKING WORKSHOP WITH HARINGEY LITERATURE LIVE AT 1:30PM Come and bring your book ideas to life with Haringey Literature's book making workshop where you can make your own fun book based on animals.
IMAGINATION STATION PUPPETS AT 2:30PM Join a cast of crazy puppets as they tell us all about their animal friends and their adventures.
DRAWING WITH YANA AT 3PM Come and join in making fun animal themed artworks with Yana Stajno.
OLD MCDONALD AND THE THREE PIGS PLUS... AT 4PM A special Mythical Maze themed version of Old McDonald & The Three Pigs Plus... to kickstart the Summer Reading Scheme in local libraries. This is a comical, colourful show where the pigs get fed up singing ‘eieio’ and move out of the barn to the other side of the farm. The children help identify farm produce, sing, take part as mythical creatures and rear pigs.
ITCHY TEETH AT 5PM Relax from our fun filled Midsummer Bash, with fun, upbeat, catchy music from Itchy Teeth.
All shows and workshops are FREE for individual families, but we do ask for you to donate to the tips jar.
