It’s been some time since the Pinkham Way Alliance has asked for signatures in support of a planning submission. But the consultation for Haringey’s new Local Plan is now underway and, we’re drafting probably our most comprehensive response yet.

Haringey council has routinely disregarded the guidance given by independent Planning Inspectors since this contentious issue began. And once again it’s failed to put forward any material evidence for its position, claiming that the site has ‘potential for waste/employment/industrial use’.

Pinkham Way is an open green space that long ago lost any signs of being previously developed
(brownfield) land. The link below gives an excellent idea of how totally nature has reclaimed the land.
