I have just bought a projector from eBay, it is a digital projector with a conventional filament bulb. It was claimed to be working by the original seller and I tested it as far as confirming it starts up, shows the startup screen and the focus works, but the bulb blew after about a minute. I think the bulb was damaged in transit. I haven't been able to confirm any other functions.
I've realised this projector is much too powerful for my needs, it was originally intended for conference rooms so has a 225W bulb and has an awesome selection of ways in which it can be used - but I don't need any of that and don't feel like buying a new bulb. For reference, a new bulb costs £48 on eBay.
I was wondering if anyone wants this, for free of course since I can't be sure it does all work. It comes with power lead but no data connectors - it works off VGA, HDMI, SVideo and Ethernet.
The model number is: Hitachi CP-EX251N, there are manuals available online here.
