Disabled teacher needs driver 3 times a week

Hello there,

I live near Downhills Park and work near Cockfosters. I walk with a walker and struggle to lift my legs into a car, something I need help with. I can get out by myself.

This creates a problem for me especially in the mornings as Uber Assists are hardly ever available, especially early in the morning (I tend to leave between 6.15 and 6.30).

My taxi journeys get reimbursed up to £20 per journey (Uber tends to only pass on around £13/14 for this 7 mile journey).

I am looking for someone who has a taxi licence, potentially semiretired for whom this would be a good gig. I need invoices to submit to the DWP so it has to be above board. I would top up with a £5 tip so each journey would be £25.

Alternatively, if anyone knows a kind Uber driver who lives nearby and starts early like me and wouldn’t mind starting their day here that would be great too. The journey is very straightforward and there are jobs at the other end.

If you have any other suggestions, I’m all ears.

Oh also: I’m a delight! I can be quiet or converse, I can accommodate different temperaments just like that.
