Campsite recommendation

Hello, I’ve seen a few posts on a couple of local community groups from people asking for recommendations for camp sites near London. We’ve just got back from Caracol Camping (took us less than an hour & a half to drive) & thought I’d add it to the recommended camp sites. It’s a glamping only site, with only 8 bell tents & doesn’t accept any other camping, so never gets busy. It’s in a magical setting with beautiful views, horses, sheep, lovely clean toilets/showers, countryside walks & pretty, sparkly fairy/festival style lights at night. There’s an excellent pub a 10 minute walk away & there’s even a steam train station in the same village, which puts on events like beer/gin & wine events & dinosaur & other kid’s events. I was talking to the campsite owners & they’re pretty much booked for weekends next summer but do have mid-week spaces still available. We loved it!
