Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

I'm really confused. Am I able to park on the Ladder with no residents permit this Monday?
the council's web-site says:

Parking Restrictions on Bank and Public Holidays
On Bank Holidays and Public Holidays there is free parking available on all on-street pay and display parking bays and in all Council car parks. Vehicles are not required to display a valid residents permit or visitors permit when parking in any of these types of location on these days. There are some exceptions to this rule and the following restrictions remain enforceable:

Double Yellow Line restrictions
Single Yellow Line - waiting restrictions
‘No Loading’ restrictions
Footway Parking
Disabled Bays
Bus Stops
Zigzags i.e. pedestrian crossings

So nothing about CPZ parking on bank holidays, or am I being unbelievably thick? Would appreciate your views!

You can park for free on bank hols ,and sundays with no permit on the ladder to my knowledge.
That's what I thought, but apparently now you can't, hence the post and my confusion.
I've just phoned the council for clarification, as I was wondering about this too. Apparently, it's only the pay-and-display areas (and all council car parks) that are free on Bank Holidays. This doesn't apply to resident permit areas, so visitors will still need a permit for Bank Holidays.

Bit of a cheek really as resident permits not needed for Sundays. Usually, Bank Holiday is classed as 'Sunday', but seemingly not in Haringey. Think a letter to the council is in order...
