Political spam getting you down?

Well I think it's getting a lot of people down. In an attempt to drive people to the website to see the wonderful video interviews and Liz's voter blog I had a stack of nice glossy HoL flyers printed to hand out to commuters this morning. Well I'd say 50% of people were openly hostile to even taking a flyer. Hey I know I'm a nerd but I think something else is happening here. People are just sick of the spam they are getting from the libdems and the labour party in Harringay. We can't even deliver the remainder of the flyers through people's letter boxes because we know it's at the point where everything is going in the bin recycling box.

So tonight I got a big bundle of these flyers and I visited each of the candidates (labour and libdem only) and stuffed them through their letter boxes. Enough already, we get it!

You have spammed the electorate with "vote for us" nonsense. How about you now tell some of them that you have great interviews on HoL and they should join up and see them, give them a flyer, you have a few now.

As far as I am aware only Matt Cuthbert has mentioned HoL in his campaign literature. I wonder why that is?
