Lovely evening at Pop and Pour at Blend
A quick recommendation for the new pop-up restaurant at Blend which we visited this weekend. Delicious food, great wines and friendly service made for a lovely evening. I think the intention is to create a relaxed, neighbourhood joint with a chilled out vibe and I certainly think they've succeeded. We chose a selection of small plates- there wasn't a duff dish amongst them but the chorizo croquettes were particularly memorable- there's also a short but tempting selection of larger mains if you don't like sharing ;) Its open from 5pm and I get the impression customers are just as welcome for a glass of wine and a small bite as a more formal meal. It was quiet for a Friday night which seems a shame as it feels like it's a unique offer for the neighbourhood and one that I hope will stick around.

I second the recommendation. Went to Blend with a friend last night and had a great time! The food is delicious (as was the wine & our spritzers) and the servings are ver++y generous. It's a fab atmosphere with cool music and a relaxed yet fun vibe. Staff are really sweet and Will the chef is lovely and very attentive. Was a really great night out & can't wait to go again.
