Anyone know when this might be open?
Spotted one of the new commercial units had a fitting recently, for a cafe. Big Gusto sign in the window, lots of white chairs. Not the most exciting look but would be good to get something else on the Sainsburys/Tesco stretch that isn't a takeaway or an empty unit.

I popped in and was told it's going to be a cafe, due to open next month!
Hi all,
I'm one of the residents in this block. Yes they have been getting this place ready for months now, and it now looks like it will be open very soon. We were initially very pleased as it looks nice, but unfortunately the behaviour of the tenant has caused serious concern, so I suspect the 100+ people living here (we have an active RTA & Facebook group so communicate effectively) will now be boycotting it and putting in formal complaints to our landlord Notting Hill.
They have been working loudly out of hours and keeping neighbours with kids awake, installing an awning without permission, and we suspect giving out security codes to contractors, which then resulted (we believe) it the thefts of thousands of £'s worth of bikes.
Recently though it got a lot worse. They have been consistently using people's parking spaces, and when confronted on two occasions now two men have aggressively intimidated two lone female residents, one of whom was with her kid at the time.
I write this as I feel it's important people know who they're shopping with.
Thank you - the support is much appreciated. Not sure what else we can do currently, except complaining to the housing association. Such a shame they behave like this, as they could have over 100 customers right in our block, ready to spend money and help their business! Apart from being unpleasant, it also just seems rather stupid!
Not sure about the council, but plenty of reports to our housing association Notting Hill. Because of the way the estate is owned & run, it's mostly down to them what they can be allowed to get away with. Hopefully they will realise the seriousness of what is now happening.
