Loft conversion recommendations
We are looking to convert our loft to add an extra room and bathroom imminently.
Can anyone reccomended a really good and trustworthy company or builder?.

I can recommend an excellent builder he's completed and is currently working on many lofts and extensions and can provide excellent refs from his customers. I've been his customer for over 10 years as have many of my friends who have employed his firm. He's lined up to do my own loft in the New Year. He's built up his business over 15 years in London and is in the middle of becoming accredited as a Which Trusted Trader. Tel: Koray, Urban Ltd, 07903 726 166. Hi there we have recently had our loft done TGA Heating and plumbing, they have done a superb job and would highly recommend him. Very reliable and trustworthy. When we negotiated the price that was more or less what we paid. His no. is 07717574617.

Hi Sonia. I really highly recommend Pat from Another level lofts as others have said. Another Level (http://www.loft-conversion-specialist.co.uk). Really worth pursuing Pat if you find it hard to get hold of him at first. Can show you ours if you like.

Two neighbours have had lofts recently. Charles Jeffries seemed to get on with the job quickly and with minimal fuss. Sunlight Loft seem to stop and start a lot, some days there are lots of workmen, others there is no work at all. Also, a passing motorist called them out for throwing wood with nails from scaffolding towards their skip, but missing and scattering them on road.

Hi Margaret, sorry for the late reply.
We've pretty much decided to go with Pat from another level. He's been reccomended widely not just on here but by people I know plus I've waked past many lofts that he's working on recently! I've also seen one loft that he's done and I was really impressed. We are just waiting to find an architect that we'd like to work on and then it'll be full steam ahead!

Others on this thread have mentioned rooftop rooms as a decent loft conversion company. We are thinking about asking them to do ours. Has anyone had good or bad experiences with this company?
Any comments however pithy, short or sweary would be much appreciated
