Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Does anyone have a space heater I could borrow for a day or two?

Hi everyone,

Does anyone have a space heater I could possibly borrow for a day or two? We've had a leak in our shed and need to dry it out properly before we re-waterproof the floor. We have a car so could pick up from anywhere local (and drop off a box of chocolates to say thanks!)

Thanks!

I wonder if storage heater is the right term and may be putting off offers of help. A storage heater is extremely heavy because it is full of bricks that store the heat overnight to release it slowly during the day. It would normally be hard-wired into the wall so not exactly portable.

Yes John...dehumidifier is probably the ticket....

You're right! I misspoke. I mean a space heater - basically a ruddy big hairdryer! I'll try to amend the original post - thanks for pointing this out.
We tried our dehumidifier but because it's an outdoor shed it wasn't very effective.
Hi Marion,

I have a heater that may work for you - it's a portable oil filled electric heater - small but pretty powerful. Has a thermostat so won't overheat too. PM me and you can visit and see if it's what you need.

Thanks,
Anna
Thanks anna, that's great! Will PM you!
